It’s often a problem to know where to safely and securely store important papers and how to deal with irreplaceable documents. For your peace of mind, we can provide the perfect solution for you for all those documents, including Property Deeds and documents, Powers of Attorney, Wills, securities, share Certificates, documents of Nationalization and many more at a competitive cost. Most banks refuse to take documents into their safe custody now, leaving you with few options.

We have nearly a century of experience in looking after our client’s important papers. You will be in safe hands in the assurance   that we know how to handle and store them for you, and that all important papers left with us, are insured against any unlikely loss, whilst in our possession.

Even with the advent of the Land Registry dematerializing title deeds, many of our clients feel more at ease with us retaining their documents, particularly papers relating to the ownership of their property – and their Will –  in the knowledge that they can be accessed at any time on reasonable notice, that we will always try and help to answer questions that arise from time to time and that your family will know who to contact, at what can often be a difficult and distressing time. Our fee for providing the service is modest and certainly in line with banks that still offer this service and you will have the assurance of knowing that, as a Solicitors Practice which can trace its roots back now  over 110 years, we will respect your confidences and privacy.

It’s easy to register for our custody services. You simply need to complete the registration form to register your details with us and to pay the annual charge by direct debit. You will find the form you need to complete here.


What does the service cost?

Its just £19.99 (inc VAT) per year to store all your documents securely.*

The process couldn’t be simpler, and you will not need to be troubled with any further action as payment will be taken automatically, on an annual basis, until you cancel it.

Like most businesses now, we prefer to deal with matters like this electronically, but equally if you would prefer to do it in a more traditional way, please feel free to print the application form and return it to us by post, completed and signed.
